Engaged

This stage of a relationship shouldn’t happen before the couple has spent time delving into what makes each of them “tick” and what they are hoping for from each other. Realistic expectations, honest questions, honest answers, and, many times, a third party (like me), can make a great difference in the long-term health of a relationship. This is an important step of commitment, especially in a culture that gets wrapped up in making the wedding day the focus, instead of engagement preparing them for the relationship of a lifetime.
